Riso Animation w/ Zine Hug

Transform the look of your digital video using the analog Risograph process! Bring animation or video footage to print with 2 colors using the Risograph printer. You will learn how to prepare a video file for print, how to use the Risograph printer, and how to compile the prints back into a digital video file.
This workshop is for animators, filmmakers, people who like to take cell phone videos, and/or people interested in learning about Riso.
No prior experience necessary, but we will use Photoshop, After Effects, and Spectrolite. Participants should bring a laptop with these or comparable programs to follow along.
Footage should be 4 seconds or less.
You'll take home 10 copies of your printed animation sheets, a scanned copy, and a digital video file.
